Good Energy, the UK renewable energy company, has reported a 70.3% year-on-year increase in revenue to £248.7 million, up from £146 million in 2021.

The company attributed this growth to rising wholesale costs, which have led to price increases throughout the year.

In the latest financial period, the reported profit after tax amounted to £9.2 million, up from the previous year’s £1.6 million, according to company records.

Good Energy’s Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Pocklington, reveals strategic milestones achieved in the first quarter of 2023, stating that they have made significant progress in becoming a leader in green energy services and that their positive performance mostly came from areas other than energy supply, such as solar power payments and record payouts to renewable generators while expressing their plans to become the go-to energy company for solar generators and install 12,000 heat pumps by 2026.
